The one-bedroom apartment had a lovely pool view and spacious layout. thin walls let in noise from guests above.

Had a lovely stay at Shantara Resort during my business trip. The room was spacious, well-cooled, and offered excellent storage space, making it easy to unpack. The location is ideal, being close to local amenities, and the resort is impeccably clean. I particularly enjoyed having access to the heated pool, which was a great way to unwind after a busy day at the symposium.

The bed and pillows were not particularly comfortable.

what an absolute disappointment! my 'studio pool view' was too small for the price, i mean seriously? and the balcony was about as private as a glass box, with strangers peering in all night long. i expected at least a complimentary drink for that. almost thought about leaving a good review, but just couldn’t.

We had a proper lovely time here, right by the beach, and bleedin' loved the adults-only vibe – no raucous kids around, just a peaceful dip in the pool. Only downside was the lack of breakfast options, could've done with a brekkie bar!

The resort is a fantastic spot for exploration! We enjoyed a lovely day at Four Mile Beach, soaking up the sun. The staff provided exceptional service, accommodating our request for privacy by blocking the next room, allowing us a peaceful retreat. Our dogs loved it too!

My kids wished there were more family-friendly amenities.

The amenities, such as the kitchenette and convenient laundry facilities, were very practical and thoughtfully designed.

Occasionally, noise from nearby guests disrupted the peaceful atmosphere.

Had an amazing time with friends! We loved exploring the beautiful beaches and checking out the lookout with our tour guide. The location was perfect, and we relaxed at the pool after a day full of adventure. The staff were friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Definitely a great base for trips to the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree rainforest!

We were disappointed that the day spa was closed during our stay. This was not communicated to us ahead of time, which would have been helpful. It would have been nice to have that option available to unwind after our excursions.

It is a serene retreat with efficient housekeeping service and convenient barbecuing facilities!
